About the Item
A fine Art Deco Swiss Langenthal porcelain model of a lying rabbit designed by Edouard Marcel Sandoz and made in 1948. The porcelain rabbit is hand decorated in black and white glazes and has printed makers marks to the base along with a signature E M Sandoz. The rabbit is offered in excellent condition.
Provenance: Catalogue raisonné Sandoz F Marcilhac. Edition de l’amateur ISBN 9782859171636. Page 547 Lying rabbit, reference LGT 5- 1948 model made of white and black enameled porcelain.
