Very rare Goldscheider ceramic figurine of the 1930s: Standing young pretty lady with a broad-brimmed hat on her curly, chin-length hair, wearing only heels and covering her nakedness with a large, red fan, which she holds in both hands in front of her, behind her a standing Borzoi. On a black oval base. Designed by Josef Lorenzl (1892 - 1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920 - 1940. This Model 7722 was created circa 1936/37. made circa 1937 Manufactory: Goldscheider Vienna / Austria. Material & Technique: hand-crafted ceramics, white earthenware, hand-painted, glossy finish. Dimensions: height: 35.5 cm / 13.97 in. width: 22.0 cm / 8.66 in. depth: 12.5 cm / 4.92 in.
