Lead Crystal cut Glass Mallet Decanter Three Neck Rings lozenge stopper, Ca 1790
Located in Lincoln, Lincolnshire
This is a very good, beautifully proportioned, crystal cut lead glass Spirit Decanter with a mallet shape and three flat cut neck rings, with its original lozenge stopper, circa 1790. This decanter is really well proportioned and elegant, with the mallet taper shape, which first appeared in the George 111rd period from circa 1765. It has three spaced flat cut neck rings, which give a very good grip when pouring. The body has vertical fluting around the shoulder and a herringbone fringe of finer cuts around the base. This decanter has its original lozenge cut stopper and is a very good fit to the decanter. The decanter is made from Lead glass with a soft grey color. This is a spirit or small wine decanter size having a Volume of about 500ml. Overall, a late 18th century, very elegant, Georgian lead...

Yeoward William “Collection Crystal” English Goblet
By William Yeoward
Located in Prato, Tuscany
We kindly suggest you read the whole description, because with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to guarantee the authenticity of our objects. We have two other goblets identical to this one that we sell in pairs (posted on 1stdibs) Iconic and precious crystal chalice; it has been made from the highest quality lead crystal with a thickness that is thick enough to allow it to be ground deeper than normal, which allows the light to reflect in a much brighter and more brilliant manner; for this to happen, the geometry of the grinding has also been specially designed and executed. The glass is a delightful combination of intricate cuts and engravings and features some of the most beautiful motifs of the 18th and 19th centuries. Every detail of the decoration, such as the glittering star wheel, is cut entirely by hand, with hours of specialized labor required to complete each piece in the collection achieving a very high standard of quality. The glass was made in London, England, between 1995 and 1996 by the William Yeoward company, whose name it bears on the bottom (see photo), and is one of the most attractive designs in the "William Yeoward Crystal...

Striking Oak & Brass Tantalus with Whiskey or Liqueur Crystal Decanters & Drawer
Located in Lisse, NL
Large size and great design, antique tantalus. This wonderful condition and rare, three crystal bottles holding, tiger oak tantalus will look great everywhere. This handcrafted work of beauty dates from the late 1800s and it comes with a variety of striking details and compartments. The two folding lids come with beautifully silvered brass hinges and the lock works perfectly via the original key. It is only when you have opened the lids that you can press the silvered button in the middle (it is on a stick) to open the secret drawer below. In the back of the secret drawer is a game that we have never seen before (see image 11) and we don't know if it is complete. The secret drawer can also be used to keep decks of cards and alike. Also, only when the lids are open, will you be able to take out the bottles as well. For those who did not yet know, these striking 'minibars' with lock and key were created so that the butler or maid or any other non-family member could not secretly drink the very expensive liquids that these decanters would have held. The crystal decanters and stoppers...
