Minton 19th C Gilt Dessert Service 15 Pc. W/ Parian Figures Hand Painted Roses
About the Item
Beyond belief! This set is museum worthy, exhibiting some of the finest workmanship Minton produced. The centerpiece features an exquisite pierced tall basket lifted up by 3 tall Parian Goddess figures and decorated with raised gold, hand painted floral bouquets and a sturdy, detailed base in the the same motif. Then comes a pair of footed basket-weave compotes with Parian Putties figurines cuddling doves and standing 11" tall x 10.5" diameter. Next in height is a pair of lower compotes with a beautifully decorated stem measuring 5.25" tall x 9" in diameter followed by one low footed compote measuring 3" tall x 9" in diameter. To top it off, the set also includes 9 uniquely hand painted dessert plates each featuring a different rose specimen, central rose garlands and pierced borders and embellished with gold.
This centerpiece grouping will set the most elegant, rare and unique table imaginable! Dessert never tasted this good!
