Set of Six Campbell-Rey Cosima Murano Coupes
About the Item
Campbell-Rey launches two new hand blown Murano glassware collections crafted from Pyrex. Named Cosimo and Cosima, the two sibling collections are a continuation of the close relationship between Campbell-Rey and glassmaker Laguna B, bringing together material innovation and a playful design with the skilled hands of Muranese master craftsmen.
The Cosima collection is available in six rim colours - green, blue, lilac, red, orange and yellow - and orders will contain one of each colourway unless otherwise specified.
Cosima makes use of the Rigadin Menato swirl technique (meaning “texture” and “spun” in Muranese) which recalls the gently rolling tides of the Venetian lagoon. Also based on a tulip shape for the wine glass and champagne coupe, the tumbler and highball are subtly tapered on a flat base. Each piece in the collection is adorned with a fine colored rim which is applied by hand during the blowing process.

Campbell-Rey
Campbell-Rey is a creative consultancy and design partnership founded by Duncan Campbell and Charlotte Rey. Working fluently across the fields of creative direction, branding, curation and design, their practice is united by a grounding in culture, a spirit of irreverence and a playful, elegant aesthetic. Together they have undertaken commissions for some of the world’s most innovative and desirable brands. Campbell-Rey's work is informed by an enduring fascination with natural materials and the allure of the handmade, coupled with a love of colour and a sense of wit. Following several design commissions, Campbell-Rey launched their debut table collection at the Salone del Mobile 2017.
The glasses are available in six rim colours - green, blue, lilac, red, orange and yellow - and orders will contain one of each colourway unless otherwise specified.
