About the Item
For your consideration is this genuinely rare and highly collectable 1930's chrome Art Deco Chrome Lady Teacup and plate stand, featuring a two dimensional bathing belle in the fashion of the day swimming costume. More often seen are the candlesticks and table gongs but a full t-set stand is extremely unusual. Made in England and original to the 1930's period, this piece would have been quite expensive in it's day. Perfect show piece for traditional English tea's. Condition is great with just minor clues to it's real age. Though a very stylish product of the jazz age and genuine collectors piece and works superbly in contemporary surroundings. These stands are extremely rare and difficult to source. Ceramics shown are not included in this sale and are for demonstration purposes only.
