This highly collectable pair of Kings pattern silver sauce ladles are in the sought-after double-struck standard form with the diamond heel, with a plain bowl.
Hallmarked for London 1834, makers mark WE for William Eaton.

The kings pattern is perhaps the most popular of all the flatware patterns, principally dating to the early 19th century, but earlier examples have been found. This delightfully attractive pattern has been very popular since its introduction, with large quantities being produced throughout the nineteenth century and it is still being produced today. This makes it a favorite for flatware collectors especially exemplary pieces made by renowned silversmiths.
