Antique English Sheffield Silver Plated Figural Wine Bottle Wagon or Coaster Set
About the Item
This Sheffield plated figural wine coaster wagon is unsigned but presumed to have been made in England in circa 1890 in the period Victorian style. The wagon features two silver plated wine bottle coasters with leaf and berry decorated rims and turned wooden bottoms. The coasters sit on a sturdy silver plated frame with four spoked wheels and plated hub caps. The front wheels pivot from side to side so that the wagon can be turned and pulled by way of the sturdy silver plated falling tongue fitted with a composite handle.
