Beautiful Victorian Continental Silver '.800' Oval Picture Frame
About the Item
Beautiful, Victorian, continental silver (.800) oval picture frame with all silver easel, Germany, circa 1895, Hanau maker's marks. Measures: 8 inches high at highest point x over 4 1/2 inches wide at widest point x 4 3/4 inches deep when easel is in open position. Will show a photo 3 1/2 inches x 5 inches. Decorated with leaves, flowers and, at the top, a bird holding a garland in its beak. Dark spots in photos are reflections. Excellent condition.
