About

Very rare and finely hand chased large tankard of the GEO II period; highly collected and sought after fine London silversmith, William Cripps with hallmarks for London, 1758/59. Measures: 6 1/8” height approx. 18 troy ounces maker, William Cripps. (quite possibly later chased given its age, but if so, it is exceptionally well done and still quite valuable as a sizable tankard of this period.)
