A Japanese keyaki wood (Zelkova) hibachi with copper liner from the Meiji period. Commonly used for cooking or warming sake or tea. Features a rectangular keyaki wood frame surrounding the central opening lined with copper. The hibachi attracts our attention with the beauty of its keyaki wood grain. Meiji Period, Japan, 1852-1912.
