About the Item
Art Deco port sign of Porto Rolaria.
Old advertising sign for the aperitif drink Port - Porto.
What a beautiful design:
2 bottles of Port: one very old tarragona red port with red label, the other one dry white port with green label.
Next to the bottles a very cute girl with blond curling hair, red dress and socks who is holding a huge bunch of blue grapes and a XXL glass of red port.
The company Rolaria was based in Brussels Belgium as first class wine importers.
They imported and bottled the drinks.
This beautiful litho advertising sign - store display is made of thin cardboard.
Creation Imp. E. Cockelaere & Fils, Jette, Bruxelles circa 1930s.
It's still in good condition but with spots of moisture during the years.
