Art Deco Revival Four Arm Brushed Nickel & Frosted Glass Chandelier

About the Item

This stunning Art Deco chandelier was realized in the United States during the latter half of the 20th century. It features four rectangular arms that attach to a cylindrical central body. The arms culminate in cylindrical reeded supports that each hold an orbital frosted glass shade. This reeded form is reiterated in a cylindrical embellishment above the body that connects via four cylindrical rods. With its monochromatic palate and clean modernist lines, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates four candelabra based bulbs offering up to 240 watts of light. American, 20th Century Dimensions: 23" H X 25" D X 25" W.

A very special opalescent, molded art glass chandelier with all glass stem and canopy signed Ezan, circa 1935. The armature is completely encased so that undulating glass forms with dotted block patterns convey an organic impression. A minimum of exposed mounting clips in silver plate bronze creates an even further, all glass illusion. The opalescent nature of the glass gives the hint of slight color. It is a chameleon to match any neighboring decor and can appear to have slightly shaded tints of blue, or pink, or yellow, or purple depending on sunlight and surrounding. Unfortunately the photos do not replicate the true nature, color and feeling of the luminous art...
