French Art Deco Loys Lucha Signed Enameled Floral Glass Two-Light Pendant Light
About the Item
This superb Art Deco molded, frosted, and hand-painted octagonal glass bowl features a floral design in soft pastels that looks wonderful both lit and unlit. The outer edge is signed “Loys Lucha” by Les Verreries d'Art de Loys Lucha. The colorful pendant light has an elegant silver-color brass and bronze frame with four branches and two sockets for E14-size light bulbs. Beautifully ornate decorated bronze canopy. France, 1930s.
Dimensions: diameter 40 cm / 15.74 in, height 50 cm / 19.68 in.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
Les Verreries d'Art de Loys Lucha was the famous glassmaker company of Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon (1880-1951), based in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, France, and specialized in enameled glass in Art Deco style.
