Six-Light Chandelier
About the Item
This fine French chandelier brings the best to your home. From the gilt bronze crisply cast canopy, to the cut blue glass pendant below, it demonstrates the good taste and quality for which Baccarat is renowned but cannot be definitively attributed to the famous atelier. The large crown is cast in relief with portrait heads of children. The intricate chains support a Gothic style ring from which are suspended unusual carefully cut and molded pendent drops. The six-light are hung with long cut crystals and are now surface wired. The blue cut glass is quite characteristic of Baccarat. In this period, there was much experiment with unusual colors.

- Condition:Refinished. Rewired: All Brass parts were cleaned and waxed. All electrical wiring was replaced. Some crystals pendants restrunged. Wear consistent with age and use. Ther is a small ding to the main Glass body behind the brass support ring, not visible.
