About the Item
Superb condition and beautiful, midcentury modernist ceiling lamp.
We don't know which designer created this midcentury work of lighting art, but we can see why this unique fixture would perfectly complement the interior of a mid-century hallway, landing or bedroom. Both with the light switched on and off this really smart and cool looking fixture is an absolute joy to look at. The design is very well balanced and the materials and forms make it everything but dull. Inside the up-side-down, tripod brass frame is an amber glass shade with a hand-engraved, modernist lines pattern. Topped off with a black metal 'roof', a chain and a height adjustable brass canopy this little beauty is a real eye-catcher. There is something about the shape and colors that really lifts this midcentury piece way above average.
