About
Magnificent colorful Ca'Rezzonico Murano glass chandelier from Italy from the 1940s. The type of Murano Chandelier is attributed to the famous glassmaker Galliano Ferro.
The colorful Murano chandelier has a total of 16 lights spread over four levels made from hand-blown Murano glass. On the first level, the chandelier is surrounded by 8 large circular arms. On the second and third levels are 4 additional arms. The cups of the middle and top-level are adorned with numerous colorful flowers and leaves.
The chandelier has the original white wooden candle-shaped lamp sockets. It is a sign of originality if the lamp sockets are made from wood.
Provenance: South German aristocratic private property. One of the images is showing the former hanging place of the chandelier in a German castle.
