Giant Parabola Surgical Light
About the Item
Very large and extensively modified operating lamp (1980s) on the heaviest made tripod by Linhof (Germany from the 1950s, very rare). This tripod has been completely stripped, polished and partly painted in a satin finish, hammered black.
The originally one-armed, free-moving operating lamp (Chromophare 950) was stripped of handles, halogen lighting and electronics. A manually formed bracket (half moon) was also made to give the lamp adjustment options. Then fitted with two LED power modules, which can independently display all desired colors with radio remote control, including a transition from warm to daylight white.
At the top of the lamp is a small atmospheric "standby" 1W. LED lamp which can also be switched off manually on the bottomside of the operating lamp.
The lamp has many adjustment options, lowest position 1.8m. high.
Fully extended 3.2m. Diameter lamp unit 0.9m.
Performed with 5m. wrapped vinyl cord and the lamp has full earth connection.
