Near Pair Vintage Hollywood Regency Grosfeld House Deco Torcheres
About the Item
Near pair of vintage Hollywood Regency deco metal torcheres in the manner of Grosfeld House, Walter Von Nessen. Uncertain to designer/maker.
Base plates are slightly different. One stands a little more than 1/4" taller. Otherwise they appear identical. The Metal columns appear to be a brass plated steel that were more recently painted white in say the last 20 years when they were rewired.
Plenty of surface wear to. The bases. Some wear to the finish on the torcheres as well. Some chipping to the white paint. Rim top one of the torcheres is ever so slightly bent but difficult to notice. Overall they show well as-is.
