Articulated Sconce Mid-Century Modern Stilnovo Style Solid Brass Black and White

About
This beautiful sconce has three moving joints.
The middle one can be with key, for changing position every once in a while, or screw for fixed position.
The one on the backplate can be a ball joint to give possibility to change arm position on all directions, with a maximum angle of 30 degrees. The position is fixed. Or the dented same joint that is on the middle to give all possible angles but vertical and not lateral. Again this last possibility is with key for changing position every once in a while or screw for fixed position.
Third is the head hoint gives to shade the possibility to turn in all directions 360 and change the angle with a maximum of 30 degrees in and out.

Colors of shades available are sage, ivory and matte black. The two shades can be made in different colors. See other chandeliers in my storefront for matching possibilities.
The inside of the shades can be either ivory or gold. Gold works well with Ivory or Black.
Other colors are available: Red, yellow and blue to meet the mid-century primary colors look.
Natural solid patinated brass. Aluminum shades lacquered.
Measurement listed is the large coming from arms 40 and 30 cm (16 and 12 inches). There is also a shorter version with arms 30 and 20 (12 and 8 inches).
Pivoting heads helps with the light distribution in the room. Upper shades contribute to the ambiance light and lower shades for the direct light.
Ideal side to fireplace so that the arm can reach a reading sofa. Or to give proper light to a console or a kitchen island.
Backplate made to cover US standard Jbox. .
Made by a lab specialized in mid-century restoration. Owner is a collector himself and connoisseur of the period. This chandelier takes it's inspiration from several different chandeliers of the 1950s and follows the path of Angelo Lelli, Vittoriano Viganò for Arredoluce or Sarfatti and Giuseppe Ostuni for Stilnovo.
Everything is done with a passion for details and materials. The finish and the appearance is the same of the originals that are now extremely difficult to find in good conditions.
Shades: Each shade is made of two separate shades and is 11in/27.5cm tall. Carries two bulbs, a candelabra socket on the smaller upper cone and a either a regular socket or candelabra on the larger lower dome shaped shade. In alternative both can carry candelabra socket. Larger shade is 8in/15cms diameter/wide.
Shade have adjustable pivot head so that the output from the large shade can be directed to the desired area and the opposite would have ambiance light. Shades are made in spun aluminum with the typical line of small holes. Enameled with the colors of the 1950s palette. Ivory white, Black. For other colors available please inqury. Lacquered gold finish inside.
Arms and body: Made in natural solid brass and hand patinata
These sconces are made to cover octagonal standard J-box and have correct mounting holes for the standard crossbar.
Important: A person familiar with the construction and operation of the product must install this fixture.
This sconce is current production made to order. Please write me for any special size requirement.
The outline of the shades was designed to summarize and recreate the 1950s chandelier from Arteluce and Stilnovo but it does not belong to either and it is an original design.
Being the heads pivoting, measures indicated in the pictured position. Inquiry for schematic.
Customization Options
Color of shades can be changed within existing color shades in stock. Length of arm can be adjusted to designer's request. Electrical part to fit your country socket. Ul certification under general coverage available upon request for extra charge and with the timing that this certification require.
