About the Item
An impressive and monumentally scaled pair of Italian 19th century patinated iron, ormolu and gilt iron ten arm sconces. Each beautiful Northern Italian sconce is anchored by a decorative backplate from where large, rich, elegant scrolled arms and movements extend upwards. Above detailed foliate designs are the fine arms arranged in tiers of four, three, two and one, each adorned in acanthus leaves and ending in ormolu and gilt metal candle cups.
