About the Item

This very colorful floral leaded glass table lamp was made by the Chicago Mosaic Lamp Co. The lamp is totally original, to include the finial, heat cap, base and of course the shade. Although it is unsigned, being lamp dealers for over 40 years, we have the knowledge to back up our attribution. The pattern of the shade is quite unusual, and very colorful containing yellow, green, tan, red and light purple flowers along the border. The high quality base is very organic looking and has a rich warm patina in wonderful condition. One of the more unusual leaded glass lamps of the period. So much nicer in person, colorful is the word here.

Condition:

Wear consistent with age and use. One piece of yellow glass at the top has a "V" shaped crack, but is totally stable. Other than that only a very few small hairlines that are barely noticeable, and so typical of lamps like this with over 400 pieces of glass.
