"Female Figure in Profile, " Rare Art Deco Boudoir Lamp by Lenox in Gray & White

About the Item

This lovely, high style Art Deco table lamp was sculpted by Geza De Vegh for the famous Lenox porcelain works in Trenton, New Jersey. The cylindrical form features a female figure with Art Deco hair in profile, glazed in a bright white color that contrasts beautifully with the grey flannel ground color of the lamp. The porcelain lamp is set into a stepped-back Art Deco metal base manufactured by Dav Art in New York, which produced lamp bases for a number of manufacturers in the 1930s. (With the harp included, the lamp is 15 inches high).
