Sterling Silver Corinthian Column Table Lamp
About the Item
A large and architecturally grand sterling silver table lamp in the form of a Corinthian column, with a tapered reeded stem and decoration of scrolled acanthus leaves to the capital and wreathes applied to each side of the square base. Hallmarked London, 1924 with maker’s mark (indistinct).
Asprey created similar lamp bases with a Neoclassical, architectural theme in the 1920s.
Shade is for illustration purposes only, the lamp base is the item for sale.
