Vintage Grey Striped Ceramic Table Lamp, Starck Andersen, 1960s
About the Item
Modernist, striped Danish mid-century chamotte clay stoneware table lamp. Hand-carved vertical lines in the raw clay interchanged with the light grey shiny glazed lines around the belly of the lamp. Designed by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Son in the 1960s, and produced on the island of Bornholm - well-known for its ceramic art history. Rewired with European plug. Original fitting with switch for E27 bulb. Labelled on neck, labelled and stamped under base. Beautiful vintage condition.
