Illustrated with 90 black and white in text facsimiles, phototypes, reproductions and sketches. A complete history of Surrealism in "The Documents of the 20th Century Art" series that traces its origins in the late 19th c to the 1924, André Breton's "Manifesto," with references to literature, poetry, theatre, cinema and all the visual arts.
