A hardback book and dust jacket, the book is in very good condition, the dust jacket is slightly sunned but is complete with no tears or chips. This is the 1981 1st edition. 305 pages with 413 illustrations, including 230 plates in full color. During the second half of the 20th century the name of Knoll was synonymous with great designs of furniture and textiles. This book is a portrait of the extraordinary group of people who designed for the firm over these years. People such as Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoia, Marcel Breuer and many others.
