The museum has the finest collection of Oriental art under one roof in the world. No other museum has such important works of art from India, Southeast Asia and the Far East exhibited together. The book illustrates and describes 134 of it's greatest treasures including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, metalwork and lacquer from Japan, China, Korea, India and Persia.
