About the Item
Calvet Hanger designed by Antoni Gaudí for BD Barcelona is part of the 2019 collection. Gaudí's work was inspired by his desires in life: architecture, nature and religion. He considered every aspect of his productions and combined into his architecture such works as ceramics, stained glass, wrought ironwork forging and carpentry.
This hanger is made up of different elements bound together by a steel ribbon. Possibly this is the tiniest composition of furniture ever made by Gaudí with a maximum dimension of 25 cm. This is structured using waxed natural solid oakwood and forged iron structure with a burnished copper and varnished finish.
