Two Vintage Textiles by Verner Panton, Spectrum Textile for Mira - X

About the Item

Two rare vintage textiles by Verner Panton (Danish, Gamtofte 1926–1998). Spectrum for Mira - X AG from 1960s. Printed cotton (velvet). The textiles are represented on The Met, New York. Rectangular 2 mirroring squares. The top square features eight square shapes sitting within each other, ranging from a light green to darker green. The bottom square reverses the colors in the opposite order, with darker green as the outer square and lighter green in the center. This piece would make for an excellent use for curtains, wall hanging or other use. Good condition.
