About the Item
Elegant Pair of Italian Mid-Century Modern Hi-back Lounge chairs or Wingback Armchairs by ISA Bergamo and attributed to Gio Ponti as model # 512 for ISA.. Recently re-upholstered in Italy.
Gio Ponti was known for working in the Modern Neoclassical style; these chairs reflect that and can define both traditional and modern interiors. The set features pieces with high backs, a sculpted profile, refined, sensuous lines and deep comfort. The refined legs are in solid brass and are elegantly sculpted and tapered to allow the chairs to stand apart.
