Pair of 1920’s Armchairs Hand-Scraped to Their Original Paint

About the Item

A lovely pair of 1920’s Swedish armchairs which have been hand-scraped back to their original paint. The drop-in seats have been recovered in a vintage French linen. The open back has a fan-shaped reticulated panel with hand-carved detail to the surround, open sides and front frieze. Carved flower detail is set into the front corners and carving to the top of the tapered legs. Well proportioned and of a decent size which makes them perfect as elegant side chairs that would grace many interiors both traditional and contemporary. Arm height at the front: 62cm
