Rare Pair of French Hammered Iron and Chain Lounge Chairs by Jean-Charles Moreux

About the Item

Important pair of chairs (lounge chairs, side chairs, slipper chairs, armchairs) hand-forged in iron embracing both the neoclassical tradition with its Curile form and a spare, sober, modern aesthetics via the handmade chain link seats. The chairs are delicately fabricated through judicious hammering of iron by a blacksmith with tapered legs, ball finials and a handmade chain link seats. These pieces are for a true connoisseur who appreciates the merging of beauty, rarity, craftsmanship, classical tradition and modernity.
