Set of Six Mid-Victorian Carved Oak and Leather Upholstered Club Armchairs
About the Item
A fine set of six mid-Victorian carved oak and leather upholstered club armchairs, circa 1870-1880 in the French taste, with deep-buttoned back and scrolled arm rests with acanthus supports, the turned, tapered and fluted front legs with gadrooned and ring-turned embellishment, all traditionally upholstered in the finest red goatskin and finished with brass tacks.
