19th Century Italian Pair of Gilded Wood Chiavari Chairs with Vienna Straw
About the Item
Very nice series of two chairs production of Chiavari Italy cabinetmakers laboratories. All the chairs you see on sale are antique 1880s made of turned wood. The wood is completely gilded with gold leaf. The seat in with Vienna Straw made by hand weaving the threads according to the ancient method. The chairs are equipped with a custom-made cushion, with signs of wear in the fabric.
