Pair of Biedermeier chairs, Austria 1820, cherry veneer with plum wood inlays. Unique and exquisite pair of original Biedermeier chairs.
The design of the chairs shows the influence of the famous Austrian furniture designer Josef Danhauser (1780-1829). Danhauser was the leading furniture maker in Vienna at that time and had many royal patrons.
