About the Item
Original antique Adirondack " Westport Chair " designed by Thomas Lee in 1903 for his summer home in Westport, NY and produced by his friend and local carpenter Harry Bunnell in 1905. Great early example of the first Harry Bunnell patented production of 1905 - stamped with the impressed mark at back ( img. 14 ) It is in beautifully aged old worn red painted surface w/ areas of underlying earlier green / orange paint and wood.
