Jiří Jiroutek Demountable Plywood Cabinet or Bookshelf, 1960s

About the Item

Demountable plywood cabinet or bookshelf designed by Jirí Jiroutek and manufactured by Interier Praha in former Czechoslovakia, 1960s. This unique cabinet consists of four smaller U-470 shelves held together by metal pins. Put together, these four pieces make a wonderful and functional cabinet perfect for any living or working space. This cabinet and of course also function as a perfect room divider. Each inner shelf of the cabinet is held by small metal holders and can of course be adjusted by height or completely removed if wished. Date of manufacture: 1960s. Origin: Czechoslovakia. Material: plywood Dimensions: H 100 cm x W 220 cm x D 30 cm. Condition: In good original condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
