About the Item
Renowned designer Paul Mathieu created this large dresser with 9 drawers with his interpretation of fleur-de-lis motif carved all-over the piece just like the other two designs namely the Louise Semainier and Demi Louise Semainier which are part of the Louise collection he created for Stephanie Odegard,. A remarkable piece in which each of the exterior faces is entirely sculpted out of a solid piece of wood by hand, then covered with metal sheeting. The available options for metal cladding are brass, white bronze, antiqued bronze, silver and copper. Both silver and copper will tarnish over time. Regular non-abrasive household metal polishes can be used to restore the original finish.

Please note that moisture in air, sudden change in temperature and natural movement of wood over time causes the metal to wrinkle or bubble up. We use well seasoned, reclaimed teak and high quality marine grade MDF (wherever technically possible) to avoid and delay the above mentioned changes. However a perfect stability of metal cannot be guaranteed.

The curved legs and side rails of this exceptionally elegant table are hand carved from solid pieces of teak.
