Dressing Table Ladies France Napoleon III in Bronze and Wood, 19th Century
About the Item
Amazing Napoleon III style women's grooming of circa 1800. French toilet with original ormolu holders and working lock and key. The upper part rises up to reveal a compartmentalized interior equipped with a mirror and ormolu hinges and lock designed with ornaments. The hole of the key and the lock of the apron of the table are decorated with a brass medallion inlaid in the same color. Everything is raised on shaped black lacquered wooden cabriole legs with ornamental bronze frames. On the sides of the drawer there are also bronze ornaments in the edges of the tabletop. Inside there is a mirror with brass ornaments. Under the drawer there is a small pull-out box that serves as a work drawer. The cabinet is ideal to complete night areas or elegant walk-in closets for women.
