1960s Danish Rungstedlund Mahogany Highboard by Ole Wanscher for Poul Jeppesen

About the Item

This Danish mahogany highboard or high sideboard, was designed in the 1960s by Ole Wanscher for the manufacturer Poul Jeppesen. Like many of Wanscher's designs, this sideboard combines warm-toned wood, soft, rounded edges, and Minimalist lines. Structurally, the sideboard is comprised of a flattop cabinet chest with two wide doors that open up to six deep shelves and a single drawer, while the base provides considerable uplift with its tall, thin legs. The doors have brass hinges and come with a key.
