Like the other members of our 'Bond Series', this completely transparent acrylic coffee table is defined by the trough nestled underneath its surface. The trough enables you to curate your own sub-seat terrarium, or to display your own accents, oddities, and other objects of intrigue. Its transparent nature allows the piece to house accents that compliment its surrounding environment while also creating a sense of spaces. This aesthetic flexibility allows the table to synergize perfectly with almost any design project.
We personally like to use the piece's trough to grow moss, herbs, or low-hanging flowers. Guests really love picking fresh mint leaves and using them as drink garnishes while sitting in the living room.
This piece is a member of our "Bond Series", a line of acrylic furniture that plays with both reflective geometries and acrylic's translucency in order to express and capture and express an underlying element of humor. Light travels freely through transparent acrylic panels, which both illuminate the detail and geometry of the piece’s sleek design and create a sense of space within the broader environment. In addition, each piece’s the sub-surface trough offers the perfect a locale to display complementary design accents or nurture a miniature botanical sanctuary.

Thislexik
Thislexik is a contemporary furniture design studio that pushes the boundaries of how conventional materials are used. They flip the concept of form-based design on its head, working at the intersection of aesthetics, science, and humor. Founded in 2014 by multidisciplinary industrial designer Vedat Ulgen, Thislexik focuses on designing and producing high-quality handmade home goods and furniture that are unique and oftentimes conceptual, without sacrificing functionality. Thislexik approaches design with a loud and deliberate aesthetic, providing an environment to realize the unmade and unseen without boundaries or subtlety. Because they are committed to ecologically responsible and intelligent methods, Thislexik believes that what they create is just as important as where they create it. Located inside of five reclaimed shipping containers in the heart of Red Hook in Brooklyn, New York, the 1,500 square foot studio implements an eco-friendly design for sustainability.
