'Starblack' Desk and Cabinet by Guido Faleschini, 1970s

About the Item

For i4 Mariani, Italy Leather topped desk with recessed aluminium channel spanning the width. With companion cabinet with leather-faced drawers and aluminium drawer pulls. Desk legs and cabinet re-covered in faux suede. The desk top leather has been restored and the the faux suede has been replaced. Desk: H 74 / L 220 / D 100.5 cm Cabinet: H 65 / W 52 / D 57 cm NB 'Starblack' was the first collection of office furniture introduced by i4 Mariani since it was founded in 1957. The 'Starblack' desk model is pictured in the attached period photo from their 1970s brochure.
