A large Austrian majolica plate, circa 1880-1890s. The plate represent a publican on a green background surrounded by grapes and leaves with a german saying. Meaning is: the drop will probably get you. Made by Johann Maresch, Austria, signed. With signs of wear as expected with age and use.
