Circa 1880s by Alfred De Breanski Sr., (1852 - 1928), England. This lovely oil on canvas, using the impedimenti technique of layering and glazing, is a rare and fine example of De Breanski's work. An atmospheric painting capturing the mood of the Scottish lakes region, it is perfect for any décor. Signed Alfred de Breanski (lower left).
Size: painting: 9 1/2 inches high by 17 1/2 inches wide, framed 12 1/2 inches high by 20 1/2 inches wide.
