About the Item

Late 19th century donkey portrait. Oil on canvas. Unrestored on the original stretcher with cast iron corner braces. Period walnut frame with faux painted "burl veneer". Indistinctly initialled / signed L R. California school. Very warn brown sepia tone palette.
