Decorative oil on canvas painting "In The Countryside" by Carl Schild from 1899. This signed and dated painting from the well-known Austrian painter Carl Schild (1831-1906) shows a scenic landscape somewhere in the Austrian country side. Painted in a very beautiful manner with lots of details - just have a look at the cows - this masterpiece comes in a majestic golden stucco frame with fantastic floral design elements from the very early Art Nouveau period.
