Original vintage London Transport travel poster advertising Green Line Coaches for hiking trips out of town featuring artwork by the English painter Roger Kemble Furse (1903-1972) depicting a couple stepping forward and dividing the poster in two colours, a lady and a gentleman leaving the city with grey buildings and smoke in the distance, walking onto the side showing a green field and tree in the Kent countryside below a blue sky background. Text below in blue lettering with the Underground and Green Line roundel reads - Coach Route L For This Week's Ramble Penshurst of the Sydneys Guide for this ramble and twenty others on Green Line routes 2d. each from any Underground Station Bookstall or from Publicity Manager 55 Broadway SW1.
