Rare large original vintage travel advertising poster for London by Hamburg Sud shipping line (founded 1871). Stunning image featuring a view from Westminster Bridge over a calm River Thames towards the Houses of Parliament with the sun partially hidden behind clouds and one of the bridge lamps framing the scene on the right. Artwork by Walter Groth. Text below in German. Printed by C G Roder, Leipzig. Very good condition, restored tape marks on left margin, small loss on bottom left corner.
