Mid-century wood block print of two owls known as "Three Eyes" by Kaoru Kawano, circa 1950s. The print has a red Kawano seal in lower right corner and is presented in a black wood frame with cream matte. Very cool MCM image! #1369 Kawano Kaoru (1916-1965) was a Japanese woodblock printmaker known for his distinct representation of figures and animals. He took advantage of the wood grain to create his unique textures.
